STAFF: Miik Dinko
Miik Dinko is a multi instrumentalist and confessed
sound addict. An admirer of Cage and Rzewski, he is has brought
his love of experimentation to the bands Torture Network, The
Dactyls of Phrygia and What 4. Miik has been the chief engineer
for all three. Thanks to this role he found his love of sound
engineering through his experimentation with sounds and sound
effects. His desire to work with sound brought him to San Francisco
City College where he completed their Sound Design certificate
program.
Originally from the Los Angeles area, his exposure to filmmaking began at an early age. As an integral part of his craft, this experience has led him to work for the last 13 years on numerous shorts, animations, documentaries and feature length films, as a composer, engineer, sound designer and mixer.
Miik has been with Outpost as an engineer since 2004. Originally an intern, he has consistently proven himself with an admirable work ethic, keen and discernable ear, and friendly manner. His varied experience, expertise with Pro Tools and other equipment and software is always a boon for Outpost Studios and its clients.
