Jordan Livingston of Digiloid brought in the short film, "Better Get Straight", a short film written, directed, and produced by Lincoln Holmes for the full sound treatment. Foley artistry by Ellen Heur, dialog and Foley editing by Miik Dinko, Dave Nelson was the sound designer and re-recording mixer.

Tonal & Nagual

Outpost Studios recently recorded Cynth Fitzpatrick and Sam Jackson for an album entitled, "Tonal & Nagual." Miik Dinko and Dave Nelson engineered the recording session and Dave will be adding the finishing touches with sound design and music composing. When the editing is finished, the files will be sent to Roger Nichols for mixing and mastering. The album will be set to release in the Fall.

Source-Connect Plug-in

Source-Connect ADR at Outpost

Benjamin Raymondjack of Electric Entertainment booked an ADR session for an episode of Leverage airing on TNT. Miik Dinko engineered the session recording talent Colin Peackock via Source Connect to engineer Bill Ritter in Los Angeles.

Through Source-connect, the remote studio was "patched in" to us while the talent recorded his lines. The ADR was needed for Leverage, a television show airing on TNT.

Source-connect operates by connecting through the Internet, providing a higher quality signal than ISDN, without the necessity of using ISDN phone lines or equipment.

The Scene

Heather Gordon, of the film, "The Scene" recorded ADR at Outpost with Amy Glazer directing and Miik Dinko engineering.

Gossip screenwriter Theresa Rebeck adapted the script from her play, a vicious satire of the Manhattan party circuit and entertainment industry. Daphne Zuniga plays a cynical TV talk show producer who encounters a chameleon-like social climber, Heather Gordon (pictured on the right). Stephen Barker Turner and David Wilson Barnes round out the cast.

Director Amy Glazer is producing the low-budget feature with Lynn Webb, Maurice Kanbar, Lynn Bashert, and Daphne Zuniga.

This award-winning, critically-acclaimed feature documentary film reveals the magic when kids take on the challenge of staging a full-scale musical in just six days when the Missoula Children's Theatre comes to town. This is a family-friendly movie that the New York Times called, "the cutest thing in the history of cuteness....a joyful portrait."
