"The Hunt"
Outpost Studios worked with Director Jeff Mellinger on his film, “The Hunt” this month. Miik Dinko and assistant Travis Ames recorded over 200 foley cues into this 17-minute short. Foley was performed by Marnie Moore and Ronni Brown. Sound design and final mix by Dave Nelson.

The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival

The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival took place this month from July 20 – July 27 at San Francisco’s Castro Theater. Dave Nelson provided sound design and mixing for “The Tribe” by Tiffany Schlain, and music composition and mixing for “Lalo’s Jerusalem” by Lalo Baraona, both of which were in the festival this year. sfjff.org

"I Am a Sex Addict"

Dave Nelson worked with Caveh Zadehi during July on a DVD mix for his film “I Am a Sex Addict." iamasexaddictthemovie.com

Cascada de Flores

Producer Greg Landau brought in the band “Cascada de Flores” to record in Outpost’s “Studio A” during July. Miik Dinko was the recording engineer. “Cascada de Flores” is a quartet that plays traditional Mexican/Cuban music.

PJ Koll / Extreme Pizza

When Words Lose

Jeff Pedroza and Travis Ames of the band “When Words Lose” utilized Outpost Village over a weekend in July. This Phoenix-based band assembled for two days of rehearsal before playing a show here in San Francisco. myspace.com/whenwordslose

Jim Lively

Jim Lively continues to bring his skills to Outpost Studios with his longtime client Mondo Media’s “Happy Tree Friends” for Foley and Voice Over post-production.
