Dave Nelson and Haskell Wexler
Dave Nelson attended the Sundance Film Festival to support the
two movies that Outpost Studios provided post-production sound
for; Haskel Wexler’s “Who Needs Sleep” and Tiffany
Shlain’s “The Tribe: Barbie's 5000 year History”.
Audiences and critics alike lauded both, so expect to hear more
about these projects soon.
Director Victoria Gamburg is unfortunately leaving the Bay Area
film community. But not before she did one more short for San
Francisco State University, on equity at the University. She brought
it to Outpost Studios for the Sound Design and Mix.
Director Adryenn Ashley brought her project “ Anarchy Ahead”
to be prepped for Slamdance, the alternative film festival at
Sundance. Dave Nelson, and Miik Dinko provided post-production
sound to this quirky, and fun project.
Producer/Director Paul Wood came in once again to work with Dave Nelson on his video’s Sound Design, Music Composition, and Mixing. His production’s are for internal use in a multinational technology company. We are excited that the most employees in the organization will see this project, and Paul knows to trust Outpost Studios to get the job done.
Producer Omar Rivero worked with engineer Miik Dinko on Wells
Fargo’s latest Mandarin and Cantonese recordings. As always
it was a delight to work with Omar and his team to get clear sound
needed for Wells Fargo’s clients.
“Second Round” and “Eyes of a Child”
play together at SF Indie Fest, in their Mini Movies category.
Both films are from Bay Area talent that we had the pleasure to
work with last year, and both are excellent award winning movies.
