With more projects being developed in the Bay Area September was a busy month at Outpost Studios.
Producers Debbie Brubaker and Diana Vest Goodman, and Director Karen Goodman-Hawk brought their future length “One Way Ticket to Valhalla” to Dave Nelson just in time for Sundance submission. Expect to hear about this exciting feature soon!
Director Tiffany Shlain’s latest film
“The Tribe: Barbie's 5000 year History” is humorous
look at the unauthorized, unorthodox, factual history of The Barbie
Doll. Tiffany chose to have Dave Nelson work on the Sound Design.
Look for it the film's premiere at the Herbst Theater on Dec.
3rd. Her last film, "Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness,"
that Dave Nelson did the sound design for is going to be broadcast
on The Sundance Channel this month.
Hotbed Stokes McIntyre and Lily Ng, along with
their client DMNA visited Outpost Studios for Sound Design and
Mix on their latest commercial. The Comcast spot will be shown
all over the Bay Area, encouraging Dish owners to replace them

Producer Caitlyn Maynard brought the short promotional video for SanDisk to Dave Nelson to Mix. SanDisk the maker of flash-memory cards is looking to replace CD’s and DVD’s. San Francisco Foundation annual Community Leadership Awards are famous for honoring the best and brightest in the Bay Area. Citizen Film’s and Director Sophie Constantinou were taped to produce the video bios for this year’s recipients. They, in turn, came to Dave Nelson to mix the video shown at Herbst Theater ceremony.
