With an additional new space and exciting prospects Outpost Studios is getting ready for a busy fall. We have been lucky this summer to see old friends come back and new opportunities on the horizon. Our new 2,500 sq feet space is an exciting addition to our studio facility. Located right next door to our main studio it is conveniently close to Downtown and Yerba Buena Gardens, and has plenty of natural light. Engineer Steve Savage and Blind Pig Record’s own Edward Chemeleski came to Outpost Studios, to 5.1 mix two live concert videos for Rod Piazza & the Mighty Fliers and Tommy Castro. Long time client Lonely Planet had Don George
come in to work with Engineer Miik Dinko on a voice over for an
upcoming project. Don is not just the V.O. talent he is also their

Producer/Director Paul Wood came in once again
to work with Dave Nelson on his video’s Sound Design, Music Composition,
and Mixing. His production’s are for internal use in a multinational
technology company. As always Paul uses humorous situations to
get the message across, this time he dabbles in the sci-fi genre
to great affect.
Wells Fargo’s producer Omar Rivero returned with Edgar “El Gato” Aguilar, whose baritone voice is distinctive in Spanish, to record. They worked with Engineer Miik Dinko for the Spanish Language outgoing messages.
Delphine Suter’s film “Eyes of a Child”, has
won the Eastman Kodak Scholarship! The scholarship recognizes
the best in undergrad student film, and amongst it many recognitions
it will be showcased at the International Cannes Film Festival
for 2006! “Eyes of a Child” is a lovely tale full of adventure,
mischief, and the imagination of a young girl, it was filmed in
the Bay Area, with Sound Design by Dave Nelson. To read more about
