Filmmaker Delphine Sutter brought her film” Through the Eyes of a Child” to be sound designed by Dave Nelson. A lovely tale full of adventure, mischief, and the imagination of a young girl, was filmed in the Bay Area.
Engineer Miik Dinko along with Director Phillip
Briggs coordinated the ADR session for the short “Second
Round”. An unconventional look at a classic story of a prizefighter
is forced out of the ring and thirty years later finds him on
the other side of the ropes, reliving his past through a young
fighter and facing a decision he had faced years before, one that
ended his days as a fighter. Phil Bucci, Phillip Briggs, and Dan
Ventresca produced the short, here in the Bay Area with all Bay
Area talent.
Katrina Drabkin experimental film "Wrappings"
is going to screen on KTEH's Video. The performance piece is entertaining
look as she wears a dress made entirely out of garbage on Wall
Street and Union Square. The short’s sound was made clearer
by the audio engineering of Miik Dinko.
“The Real Dirt on Farmer John” producer Teri Lang along with engineers Barney Jones and Jim Mc Kee came to use our 5.1 mix stage. The documentary is an optimistic tale about the resurrection of an American soul. and it starts with the soil. Branded as a pariah in his community, Farmer John bravely transforms his farm amidst a failing economy, vicious rumors, and arson. He succeeds in creating a bastion of free expression and a revolutionary form of agriculture in rural America where people and art thrive alongside agriculture. voice is distinctive in Spanish, came to Outpost to record for
the Wells Fargo Contact Center Telephony Services group.
The West Coast premiere of documentary “Poumy”
directed by Sam Ball with sound design by Dave Nelson is at the
San Francisco Jewish Film Festival. The short answers the question
of “What turns a young French-Jewish mother into a fierce
Resistance fighter?” Andree "Poumy" Scheuer Moreuil
would say she simply "knew how to do the right thing."
This lyrical portrait of a disarmingly understated, eloquent 91-year-old
revisits her extraordinary odyssey outrunning the Nazis and joining
the French Resistance.
