With a background in professional music, Josh Rosen is a writer, executive producer, and post production supervisor.
In the 80s and early 90s he was a principal software designer on numerous award-winning digital media technologies, including Digidesign's Grammy-winning Pro Tools, Avid Technology's MediaMix, and BIAS/Macromedia/OSC's DECK II. Now, along with his brother Jonathan, he is a partner in Spine Films, a production company that develops and produces cable and broadcast non-fiction series and documentaries.
Some of Josh's recent feature film and television credits include Rafal Zalinsky's Fun, Michael Seitzman's Farmer and Chase, Lynn Hershman Leeson's Conceiving Ada, Finn Taylor's Dream with the Fishes, and multiple films by Werner Herzog, including the Emmy-nominated Little Dieter Needs to Fly, Wings of Hope, and Klaus Kinski: My Best Fiend. For interntional television, he has most recently written and produced multiple hours for Discovery Networks, RDF International and Granada Television, including Trans Central Station for The Learning Channel, Owning the Weather for The Science Channel, and Antarctica by Icebreaker for Discovery HD Theater and The Travel Channel.
